Walleta stores all your records, categories and settings locally on this device. There is no account and no automatic cloud sync — your data is never uploaded anywhere unless you choose to use AI Insights (see below).
Nothing personal. We do not collect names, emails, contacts or location, and we do not use advertising or third-party trackers.
When you tap Generate, your transactions for the current month — including merchant or note names, amounts, dates and categories — are sent over an encrypted connection to our AI provider (Anthropic) to produce your insights. This happens only when you request it. Requests are anonymous (no account) and the result is briefly cached for you; it is not linked to your identity or used to train any model.
Because everything is stored on your device, removing the app deletes all of your data permanently. You can also delete individual records at any time.
